Former Olympian Naveed Alam passes away | The Specific Tribune



KARACHI:

Former hockey Olympian and member of the victorious 1994 Sydney World Cup group Naveed Alam breathed his final on Tuesday after dropping his battle with blood most cancers.

Naveed’s situation deteriorated after present process chemotherapy at Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Lahore on Monday and he was pronounced useless on Tuesday.

The 47-year-old served as head coach of the Bangladesh nationwide group and likewise labored as Director Home of Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF).

PHF president Brigadier (Retd) Khalid Sajjad Khokhar, Secretary Olympian Asif Bajwa and different former gamers expressed grief over the demise of Naveed Alam and prayed for his forgiveness.
